How to mitigate risk in a Software development project. - By Pat Obilor
Every project task is easy on paper until the practical starts. So for starters, It is important to keep a detailed project implementation plan from the onset of the software development life cycle as well as track its potholes and progression as the software is being developed. The developers, project managers and Analysts etc should not undermine the importance of effective communication, and transparency. The temptation to hide or cover up for challenges encountered is what worsens situation so all stakeholders should be able to work together as a team and review what’s working in their SDLC or not. Testers and developers should also ensure to benchmark the software with other existing ones to assure quality standards of the software. The use of project management, scheduling and analysis tools such as such as Pert, Gannt, CPM and Swot etc should be deployed.
Let me stop here but feel free to share your thoughts how to mitigate software development risks.
Have a beautiful day everyone.⭐️⭐️
